hey was just looking for advise on what ventilation, lighting i should be using?

i have atiic that i have sealed of with black to white, it near completion, it measures 4 mtrs by 2 mtrs and 3 mtrs high with sloping roof?

 

any advise would be appreciated

Hey Gr4h4m =) , nice sized area mate . Sloping roof is like a built in reflector.... .

You could make yourself a couple of areas in that one space, so you could have one for flowering and one for Clones/ Mothers/ Vegging.

2 or 3 1000w HPS would work a treat in there, give you all the light you need, but make sure you got your tent sealed up or your attic will become a lighthouse. . The only down side is power bill will be high.

 

For Ventilation go a 250mm Centrifugal fan, and grab a 250mm x 1m long Carbon Filter, mount the carbon filter and fan up in the apex of the roof and vent out side via ducting.

Mate to be honest I'm jealous................do you know what I could do in an area that size instead of my 1m x 1m tent.

Had a diagram of a sweet room set up about this size , will post it up if I can find it for ya...............

You will need to look at air intake as well as extracting.

Not sure what part of Aussie you are in, but the temps will be your biggest worry.

just a word of warning if you have choppers in your area. They don't look for big lights glowing out of someone's roof, they look for heat being expelled outside someones house. So if you have ducts going straight outside I would maybe think about a different approach. Just to make sure.

For a room that size in OZ and if I had the dollars. I would keep it sealed. Use cooltubes to cool the lights and AC to cool the room. Use C02 enrichment @ 1500 ppms, that way you want your temps around 30 degree's, so the AC won't be used all that often.

 

Its heaps easier to keep pest's out also with a sealed room.

 

You can also line your roof with insulation. This will ensure infared won't pick up any wired heat signatures in your roof.

 

You would need solar energy, otherwise your power bill with be off the charts.

 

 

If anyone ever tells you to steal energy don't. I'm in the industry and there is nothing more power companies hate. And they do have ways of finding you.
