What kind of a sick society sends police into ordinary folks bedrooms then arrests and brands the folk criminals when they find a non-toxic harmless weed in their bedroom!

The fact that she broke the law is enough to be charged & fined.

 

I think #300 was a bit steep but reading the rest of the article I think she should've paid the extra 100.

 

We all know what I think about the marijuana laws but if you get busted you get busted.

If I ever got in trouble for smoking, it would be a big fat NOT GUILTY to posession of a dangerous drug. Fuck these assholes who want to label weed as something dangerous. Alcohol is so much more dangerous and has a much much larger impact on society. I would stand up and make sure the entire court knew, that the War on Drugs has killed more people than the drug itself, and that Cannabis is a medicine, not just something people use to get stoned.

The cops came to a place i was at and stormed in after seeing a mate with scales walk past when they were at the door (apaz they could smell it) we put everything we had in front of them

They tried to drag us down to the station for ''possesion of a dangerous drug'' then had a full rant at them about how it was bullshit, then my mates grandfather arrived home who suffers from MS, anxiety, arthritis and insomnia told the cops about how he uses mul for medical purposes and you should have seen there faces! it looked like they were ready for a bong after that attack hahaha they ended up giving us a cannabis infringement notice which was $100 still such crap but atleast its not a charge for ''Possession of a dangerous drug'' what a load of absolute garbage!

 

anyway haters are ignorant bastards who cant see the benefits of such a magnificent plant which grows naturally in the soil with no man touching it! Its not for everybody but dont ruin it for the people who require such mudicinal benefits! arhhh makes me angryyy :D

The gov. made $300 from her, but lost probably thousands for police 'labor' and court costs. So if it doesn't benefit the country/citizens, doesn't benefit the lady caught, and doesn't help keep our kids safe at night well what the fk are our laws doing?

 

Community service would have been a much more fit punishment.
