G'day felas ,I know we have spoken lots about Spider miter on here before ,but My outdoor m.j's are all getting infested with the little shits ,I know neem oil worx well and garlic sprays ,and miteisides all work well ,But i fully want too go organic ,If anyone has a Good recipe that is really organic and will rid my girls of the mites please post me a recipe ...cheers.

Organic garlic soaked in tank water, sprayed every couple of days until the peskey mites are gone,should do the trick!

I used a product called MITE-RID last time and every mite was gone in five days. Its not organic but really does the job.

 

If you can somehow entice dragon flies and lady bugs onto your plants, they eat spider mites. You could maybe think about puting a plant the mites prefer near your babies.

 

I tried a chilli and garlic brew as well, this however did nothing but stink up the place.

 

If you need to keep the numbers down untill you find a solution, simply get out there will your hose and spray the eggs and larger mite off with a short burst.

on gardening australia... the older guy done a section on pests and organic methods dealing with them... might take soem research to find the episode.. but im sure he said.. watering around with a mollasses/water solution would attract lacewings into the garden... these will sort your mite problem...
