Jan too late in melb?

Recommended Posts

Yeah sweet I might just wait till later in the year which will give me plenty of time to get some quality seeds, I wish I could start growing indoors again like I used too when living with mates, now living with my missus I don't think she will let it slide lol, shame really

G'day.

Starting in January may be leaving things a little late, I start mine around Melbourne Cup Day and leave them in until around Anzac Day, so roughly 5 months. I am not that far from the big smoke. Last year (2010) was my first outdoor grow in Victoria and I may have been able to let them go longer than I did, but they were taller than a 2 meter fence and the smell was very noticable. Having neighbours around being able to see and smell my 5 monsters made up my mind to pull them. All my growing is organic, just using lots of compost, manure (well rotted chook), blood and bone, fish and seaweed emulsions. I found a West Australian rose flowering, spray fertlizer, called Growth Technologies in Bunnings that really made 'em go mental. Works well on veges, too. So cobber, lots a luck.

Cheers.

Auntynorm.
