(Newbie) About the whole 12/12 thing

Hi,

 

So I've been reading that plants won't star flowering until there is 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness, is there any way to change this outdoors or am I at the mercy of nature? - My plant has been growing for 4 months now and I don't really want it to get any bigger. I think it's just started to show it's sex and I think it's female (I'd post pics but the only camera I have is a shitty camera phone)

 

Also, does the plant need total darkness at night? - I live in the inner city and it's never completely dark in my yard due to the amount of street light around. I've read that even a small amount of light at night can fuck things up.

yes black curtains 100% darkness for 12hrs

for 10 to 14 days will dowit

she will stay in bloom once you get her there

is she sativa ??????????

sativas are hard to force flower but you can dowit

be persistent

indicas are much ezer

 

you must change to bloom nutrients at the same time

 

other wise

bend her down, and tie, or just keep pruning her back down to the acceptable hight

The website I got my seeds from says it's an Indica X. (http://www.planetskunk.com/white-diesel-feminised-p-279.html)

 

When I change to bloom nutriens, how often should I use them? (I'm planning to use plantastic as that is what my local place sells)

 

Once she starts to bloom do I need to keep doing the 12/12 thing or can I just leave her outside in the normal elements?
