Hi there i have been growing outdoor for 6 years and loving it so here some tips for ya

Nutes: if your just starting out as first time grower i would suggest using seasol and powerfeed in combination plenty of trace elements and your main NPK elements and its simple to use. cannabis burns easy from overdosing on nitrogen and phosphorus and seasol and powerfeed seem to never burn em once you start increasing the doseage and thats where it can become complicated with more advanced nutes hope that helps you

Pot size: it all depends on how big you want your plants really but anything over 3 litres is good and will produce a decent 4-5 foot plant depending on strain and how you treat the plant

Germ: Germinate in glass of clean water or moist kitchen towel covered with something i use two dinner plates place the kitchen towel on the bottom plate lay the seeds down the water em and put the other plate over the top keeps moisture in and bugs and mold out

Tips: Try not to overwater will stress plants and to much stress will turn them male. but their is a technique call LST "light stress training" i find that it will usually sex em early and produce more females

Hope all that helps you and if you have anymore questions feel free to ask but its better to go out and find a Faq on outdoor growing. it will answer all of your questions quicker and be alot more helpful than anyone person and good luck to you

P.S seasol tonic will keep pests and diseases away so that won't be a problem for you cause outdoor growing can involve alot of pests and disease I.E mites and powdery mildew
