Hey all

 

I was watching the 7PM Project the other night and they raised the subject of mental health

Well as many of us use Cannabis to treat mental health illnesses, i thought it would be good to point it out to the 7PM Project... to try and reach the crew that havent got internet and to hopefully educate some ignorant peeps

 

so if anyone would like to have their say....now is a time to do it.

if you can add any doctors or psychologist or psychiatrist reports saying they recognize that ya use Cannabis for medicinal purposes, that would be bloody unreal - however i would black out any personal details that you want to keep private.......if you use any personal documents.

 

that said, i remind people that this is a case of representing the med canna society so if anyone is gonna join and have a say, please make sure you make it clear what you`re tryig to say and try to keep it as civil as possible........remember, we`re hoping they use our story submissions as part of a story......if we`re rude or just outright silly, then that will just allow them to stereotype

More than happy to talk to my doctors about this, can't promise what they'll say publicly though is the same as what they say to me in private

good on ya mate.......yeah to have doctors reports would just be icing on the cake.

Im more aiming at making it apparent that we use it for meds and how the prohibition is effecting us.

 

so yeah, yas dont have to have any medical research behind yas ....all ya need to do is explain why ya use it..........and ya dont even need to go into personal detail.

Yeah Chron,

It's documented that i use it for PTSD. Been diagnosed with PTSD for 2 different issues as well .I will do anything possible to help with such an important issue,

Hey Chron,

Think insight on SBS would do a good forum for this, would be a good topic to raise

Just checked and only need to go to SBS website and insight has a "suggest a topic" section. This sort of thing is right up their alley and Jenny Brock is a great mod

Get enough of the information collated, then can broach the topic. Already got the research to back-up the validity of the subject to be raised in OS alone.. The LEGAL right for people to grow and use medical Marijuana!!

Great topic for discussion.

This is not about full legalisation for recreational use. It's for those who need to receive treatment for their illnesses in ways that doesn't include copious amounts of pharmaceuticals.

Smokers should unite and stand up to be counted for this reason alone.

Doctors mantra is suppose to be " First do no harm" HUH! Well they are doing harm with their prescriptions and devotion to the drug companies.

The governments own health warnings on ciggy packets show leading cause of death is tobacco and alcohol. Illegal drugs are the lowest cause of death. No recorded deaths through the use of Cannabis alone. No

98% of all drug related deaths are caused by legal drugs administered incorrectly, wrong dosages, side affects etc. and then they give more pills to counteract the side effects of what they've already given you

Would like to get a grow in before knock on my door, but hey, WTF always ready for a good fight if it's against injustice or the underdog. It's just the Aussie way IMO

We keep the injustice Chron, anyway we can.
