My grow room! needs help on ze lighting!

It's good to hear that you've made ways for more height and 65cm ain't too bad for a cupboard grow, but again heat may be a concern. HPS is the best way to go but you wouldn't want much more than 250 w and from all recommendations a 250 w with a cooltube. But Whazzup has some good info which will help with heat. Do not go LED, the new technology still needs improving.

Your budget may be a problem, but just paint the inside white, years ago I just used ceiling white for a room. Don't worry about mylar or panda. But you most definitely need a fan to extract the hot, used air. Now I wouldn't usually recommend this but..... On a budget, in a small area you could get away with a bathroom extraction fan to start and when you have some cash again get something decent. Others may disagree, lets see what they say.

What is your grow medium going to be? Budget wise, Dirt. It's cheap, but mix some clean sand or cheap potting mix with it to help break the soil up a bit.

The rest really depends on what you want to do recirc, DWC, run to waste etc. Let us know your plans

With a little budget of 300 bucks... I would forget about the HPS light...

 

and when it comes to cooling fans... maybe just open the door and blow on the plant

 

Maybe save up a lil more, its an investment, that given time will mature and easily return more than what you invested, but in bud form! Once you have the lights and fans you can use them again and again to generate more bud, costing only what they chew in power.

 

Or if you want to keep it cheap and small, go the compact fluros...
