How much rain is enough to give my girls a drink?

Recommended Posts

So my 2nd grow show is quite a drive away, and I never know exactlty whats happening weather wise. I keep an eye on the local weather station website and was trying to workout exactly how many millimeters of rain is considered a good watering? Im expecting a wet december, jan and feb thanks to la nina. What do you bushies reckon is a decent enough rainfall in a week to save me a trip and fuel money

depends on the drainage of the surrounding soil, wouldn't take a lot though 10mm+, especially if she has some soil conditioners to retain water.

Cheers Joe, In beautiful creek soil with good drainage, I opted not to use water cystals or saturaid for this location. Expecting quite a bit of rain this season and root rot was an issue last time I used water saving products. Expecting 20-40mm between thurs/sun so looks like Ill let nature do her thing and leave the truck in the garage :applause: Never got my head around what amount of rain was considered enough to give your garden a good drink or only enough to wet the surface and not be beneficial.
