Centrifugal Fan

Recommended Posts

OK I guess ill upgrade it to a 250mm centrifugal, for $218 plus delivery... but im pretty pissed of at you guys blowing all my money like that :wallbash: jk :harhar:

I moved the carbon filter inside the tent as suggested.

The centri fan will be 250mm but the duct from it to the tent is only 150, and tent is fed by 1x 150mm duct at the moment.

Will having a little 150 inline fan on the intake be pointless because it wont be able to spin faster enough to keep up with the flow sucking thru by the centri at the end of the line? Will the slower spinning inline fan actually retard the flow? Or does it just add a little extra push? even if it cant keep up?

If I add a second 150 input duct, will I lose negative air pressure in the tent because it has twice the input as output?

Can you make a home made Y joint duct piece? they are 25 bucks a pop...

The second branch off is for future expansion for the next room... can i just block that for now?

Should I be pulling air from 1 room to the next like this?

thanks

Try the new [MAX,CAN]fan you can buy a 200mm fan for about think it around $300.00, i brought a 250mm max can fan an it rips shit will suck ya up of the floor if you get to close an spit you out the other end in little bits lol, check them out they are well top of the range fans, i have wester flex fans as well, but they dont come any were near the quality of the max can fan, if you can afford a max go for it put a speed controler on it if it is moving to much air for your room , the more air you move outta your hot grow room, eg tent the better, on the hot days you will need more air movement to keep your girls cool, but dont get me wrong the wester flex fans are a good fan they dont have bush bearrings in them they are proper bearrings an they last a long time befor they need replaceing, all ways better to go a bit bigger than to small  best a luck. Thanks Dingo.

I have already bought a 250mm can fan, I had a look at those max cans you were talking about, they pull nearly twice the air. Bit late tho... :crybaby:

With the $80 I saved tho, Im goin to get a cool tube to drop the heat down abit.
