Cool Seedling

Afternoon everyone.

 

I just wanted to share with you this seedling i started in my backyard about 3 weeks ago. Its an accidental cross of my last mother and its hermi-male (male with female flowers) brother. It is very small for 3 weeks old, but i havn't been tending to it at all and its been in some pretty hard soil. I've since moved it inside into the aerogarden.

 

 

It seems to be flowering. Or are they pre-flowers? It's a bit strange considering it hasn't got alternating nodes yet. Also the purple pistils peeked my interest.

 

It looks to have an infestation of mites. So i hit it with some mite-rid and put it to sleep.

 

I'm really interested to see where this goes.

It's either an auto flowering or possibly it is not recieving suficient light to vegitate. I would want a plant substantially bigger than yours when flowerintg to get enough yield out of her.

 

Yer its a female for now ! The reason I say that is your discription of it's parents. There is possibly an unwanted rouge gene in there,

The chance of it being auto are slim as both parents were not, anyhow it would have to be a crazy short flowering auto to start at three weeks.

 

And its been outside so plenty of light.

 

I'm thinking it just caught the very last part of the harvest window, and has panicked a bit and really given flowering a good go. I have put it under 24/0 so it should go into good vegative growth over the next week.

 

I still think its waaaay to young to be showing sex at all.

Its going alright AJKEULEN. Its only under a 175w and the temps are pretty high so its strecthed heaps. It was only ever a side note anyway. I'll grow it out, see how it smokes. I took a couple of clones before it went into flower so we will see what happens.

 

I took everything off the stems from 200mm below the highest branch and will probably have to tie the branches off.

 

I doubt it will show any purple now, because the temps are too high.

175 of what type of light and how high above the plants are they

It's a MH and the light is only 3 inches away. I probably needs a new bulb, it's getting pretty old now.

 

The PH was pretty low last night. I adjusted to 5.8.
