Early outdoor crops? is it getting earlier?

Recommended Posts

probly the clone deal was the problem seeing how it moved from a 24 hour pierod to a 12 hour but previous years havn't done the same.
thats the answer......next time read up on "hardening off" ....

as for yield from plants/clones planted in feb......fuckall  , its not as easy as that ....its comes down to strain/genetics, climate, nutes & water.

i suggest ya read up some more mate :scratchin:

allways harden off other wise they shit them selfs

this year is early , read a fair bit buddy and sometimes the books arnt spot on allways , variables are allways there and stuff I have read on here from the "pros"directly contradict books , yet they seem to post big things , books help but not allways right

so yield is fuck all so that means small plants , little requirements , less trips

buds still good though (did a late one from jan last year got good results)

constructive critisim mate (not even just wanted advise not shit) , dont just think your the shit and crap on people please

I for I hey , cheers better then me.

so you have no other theories for the early head

Or do you have an awesome routine from clone to bush?

Would also like to know your hardening off method as all i do is put then outside for a few hours one day ( then back to room )then more then next .... i might have misunderstood the hardening off bit (ill just assume I am wrong)

Cheers again

https://cannabis.com...-hardening-off/

there`s my method

as for theories as to why your clones went to head too quick..... :scratchin:

1 you put them out too early so they went to bloom too far in and wouldnt revert :scratchin:

2 you fed them food with high potassium and or phosphorus :scratchin:

3 the clones (as you said) were under 24/7 light therefor needed a longer hardening off process which it appears you didnt do.... :scratchin:

all of which come down to more research and and preparation.....

perhaps your soil ph and salt levels are out of whack...maybe the world is coming to an end  but i got my money thats its one of the top 3.....or all of em :stunned:

good luck next time :)

I was only hardening for temp and enviro conditions not so much the light .

another thing . not many places in the world crank a 18/6 light peirod ...so does that mean , for outdoor purposes , would it be better to mimic the summer sunlight hours and just veg the clones on 14-15/10-9 hrs of light in prep for the real summer otherwise wouldnt they just go to head with the reduction of hours when they hit 18/6 to 14/10?

yeah ya best off trying to mimic the outside light hours AND hardening off imo...

light intensity can play a fairly big role too (ie going from 1k watts for veg to sitting in a shady area outside),but not usually a mega stress ......high nitrogen soil prep and foliage spray will help em stay in veg too......that and a well developed root mass ;)

sorry for the shit start mate......i been having a rough trot

only read the first page. But i'd say it might have something to do with the overcast and rainy weather we have been having.

Sometimes the onset of heavy rains can bring plants into flowering. but this shouldn't be the case at this time of year.

Grapefruit and true ak47 can have phenos which can basically autoflower very early on in veg.
