Buds or leaves

Hey guys an gals i was havin an argument with a mate and he wont believe me when i say you want the light on the leaves not the buds can someone help us out on this one

the leaves are the solar panels of the plant they catch the sunlight and the leaves convert nutrients into sugars and starches to build the flowers/buds! ... called photosynthesis or something .. did your mate miss that sceince lesson cause he was smoking cones? ohh well ..

 

just give ya mate another cone and sit him in the corner an he will see the basic stoner logic
