Excessive Saliva Production

heya all

 

one thing that has plauged me smoking all these years is my saliva production, when ever i have a choof - wether it be bong, bucket or joint my mouth starts dribbling like crazy and usually have to be near a sink / bucket to spit into.

 

im guessing its just the smoke from the plant material aggravating my saliva glands for some reason.

 

anyone else get this type of thing?

Yep, me too. But only while I'm smoking the j or bongo and for the first 5-10 minutes after. I have to slag into the garden about 5 times for every cone or joint. After 15 mins I'm back to normal. Just remember mate it's better than having the dries!

sounds like your PH is too high... after each cone take a sip of PH down you will be fine...

I've always thought of it as like an amoeba that parisitically saps the potency of a hit lolol

 

probably just a natural reaction to having smoke in your mouth.

yup. same thing here. some strains dont do it to me, but a good hoot of something that tastes kind of 'oily' or 'buttery' will cause the saliva gland just under my tongue to go crazy. I usually make sure I'm near a sink... or outdoors works.

 

None of my friends have this problem. I thought it was just me, but I guess not.

Actually, no. Now that you mention it, this has never happened when I vaporize. I have a 4 year old Volcano vaporizer and I have had some mega hits off that thing's bag. That is interesting that you brought that up.

In the same boat here, between puffs of a joint i'll have to spit 2-3 times, sometimes it doesn't happen at all though, must be different kinds of weed..
