Feminized seeds are no guarentee you will get all females.

To make feminized seeds, they get 2 females, stress one until it turns hermi, then use it to pollinate the other female. The resulting seeds are almost all female, but they are much more likley to turn hermi from stress, because their dad was hermi.

 

Theres a difference between a 'female' grown from feminized seeds, and a real... pure female that grows natural.

Could anyone explain to me how out of 3 supposedly fem sage n sour seeds, 2 turned out male and 1 hermie? I had them veging under 500 w mh for about 6 weeks. Transplanted them outside to flower and got a nasty surprise.

Sexual expression is not covered by a plant's genes alone. Environmental factors can also play a role in the expression of a plant's gender. Feminised seeds have a propensity to herm if they go through a little stress.

 

Write this one off as a learning experience and go with standard seeds next time.
