Hi Folks,

I have two out of four germinated, they are about 4 days old with only one day under a 80w philips 6500k cfl. I've noticed a slight discolouration on the leaves.

I'm only using tap water, was concerned with nutes burn. Am I doing the normal noob thing and over worrying about my plants.

Should I move the plants up closer to lights; I have them in a 18 hours light cycle. I only water when the jiffy block feels dry.

I was planing on water for 1 week then 1/4 strength nutes.

If you are using any nutes stop right now. Seedlings don't need any nutes for about two weeks. I have also found that sometimes those jiffy pots can hurt seedlings. Notice I said sometimes as I have had success and failures with them.

I also just keep them damp and not wet.

Good luck. Starts to get exciting now!:applause:
