Is It To Late To Plant Outdoors In South Australia?

Recommended Posts

Best tip is to have a good read around the forums, but no it's not too late to plant I planted a bunch a few days ago actually.

Also welcome to OzStoners Wizzy, and don't forget to vote in the cannaporn comp (yeah shameless plug I know but we need more votes, and it's a great comp).

You'll be right, Wizzy. Start 'em now 'cause here in S.A. they won't bud until last week of Jan or early Feb. Really important that you start 'em off in the same spot you'll grow them. The heat will be here soon & they need to harden up once they've sprouted. Remember to keep the water up to them & hit 'em with thrive regularly. It's late but not too late

Hey there wizzy

Im from S.A. too , & plant my outdoors late Nov. , early Dec to keep the size down !

2lb monsters are easy to see & smell , but a cpl dwarfs are easy to get away with imo.

Just beware that nasty heat , coz its coming !

You can even go the other way around which I did last year... taking a few clones outta indoor flower space , & chucking em outside to finish .. even past Easter.. it worked, but as u would think, yield was down a bit .. but the 'fence hopping' season was well & truly over ., so I got to smoke em :applause:

good luck with it

take care :peace:

Thanks guys, this site is so flippin helpfull. I have successfully 28 seedlings up and going atm; im gonna give them all a few weeks and destroy any that dont look up to scratch. Also, how long should i let them grow in small pots about 10 cm in diametre before transpanting them into something bigger?
