Shroomy Goes Back To The Basics

Recommended Posts

Hi guys as most of you that know me and my growing style, I am nut for coco as my medium of choice for many many reasons, that I wont go into as i don't want this thread turning into a debate about what is the best medium to use and so forth.

Started to day by getting all the coco ready to transport to the plot tommoz or the following weekend as i am starting my new job this Monday and wont be free till next sat and sun.

The plan it to run %100 coco HEMPY buckets as I want to see how they perform in a outdoor type grow with very little maintenance.

I will be using 10 - 20 ltr buckets, what ever I can get my hands on really. I will also be mixing in some dynamic lifter into the coco with half the buckets and leaving the other half plain coco. All bucket will be fed with either H&G coco nutes or canna coco nutes not sure yet.. anyone feel free to advise what you think is the better option and why

I know new threads are pretty boring with out pics so this is my method of getting my coco ready for use no instructions as it is pretty self explanatory

Here is hoping I can get em as big as last year

smashed1 - with coco you either love it or you hate it, its that simple :) for me i like a medium that drys a little quicker than soil as i like my roots to go looking for water instead of just being soaked in it all the time, its light as hell.. I can fit about 10 - 15 blocks that expand up to 15 liters each in my back pack so that is basically hauling 8 - 12 trips worth of soil in one go :) and i find it all round just grows a better plant if you use proper coco nutes :)

Grasshopper72 thanx for dropping brother, dam straight i hope we all get a kick arse summer this year, no beer for me mate not for a little while anyways got to drop a few more kgs so can had the shirt off this summer ;)

Hi shtoomy

aye Coco isn't just ya ordinary Coco I recon it has to be 'Nutrifield' Accellerater Coco - I'm inpressed & like u a "Coco buff".

I was converted yrs ago & can only remember 1 or 2 compost grows.

Outdoors now I mostly grow in pots (Coco) , or just in what nature provided never going to any lenghts to help make life easier for the plant.

Have a good run Shroomy
