Growing Instructions

G'day. I just set up a mate with a light I had laying around surpluss. He's going to grow in pots of organic in a smallish cupboard.

 

I don't have any books anymore to loan him, and franky although I'm really fond of the guy, he just isn't smart.

I mean, very unsmart if you get my drift.

 

I'm a bit fed up telling him the same things over and over, and figured I might just print some baic instructions out for him off the web.

 

Anyone know of a real basic set of instructions for him? Forget cloning, I'll show him that when the time comes, but just simple light regime stuff.

Mind, if there's cloning stuff on it, that's alright too, but really not needed.

 

Any help is going to be great.

I would suggest typing out a set of instructions. Everything on the net goes into too much detail. I started typing it out, but then thought Robbie knows more about growing than me and can do this himself

oooer if someone does type these out could i have a copy to? simple instructions are always good to have on hand and i've read all the complicated crap so tis good to get back to basics sometimes

Thanks everyone, I think it might be a good idea to type something up as you said pipeman. Maybe we should knock something up for the site? I never think of it as needed, 'cause after doing it for so long, ya kinda just expect it's common knowledge. But after trying to get my friend going, I can see some people are really lost at gardening, especially if they haven't done any other gardening either.

 

Like someone said on this site not so long ago, "growing pot isn't rocket science".

But when you read some of the stuff on the web, you'd think it is, and a touch of metaphysics thrown in .

 

Oblivion, I'll get someone to post you something, or else get something posted on the site as soon as possible mate. But it'll be real basic stuff i think.

Thanks rob would be cool, i mean im not a total tard at gardening but it's mainly all the gardening in not natural circumstances that has me going (eg lighting, air rotation etc) crazy :: but hey i've read enough now that it's time to get my hands dirty and see what kind of garden i can get growing or dieing..... which ever happens first

Thanks again everyone. BTW pipeman, I'm no guru on the subject, I just grow them as though I'm growing anything else. Gettin the hang of the ppm and all that jazz was new to me, but fairly straight forward once you get the hang of it.

 

I cut my teeth growing outside, and just applied my experience of vegetable growing is all. Hydroponics is another world, and that's another subject regardless of what we're growing huh.

yeah true rob, after a years reading on the net I know most of the basics in theory but am pretty inept when it comes to applying it to my grow.

 

like I had mould in my last crop and didn't even wipe down the inside of my flowering cabinet before putting my next plant in to flower. I sometimes forget to water my mothers, I take clones then just couldn't be bothered checking them and they die stupid shit like that. but, what I am learning is how resilient MJ plants can be. For all the abuse from pyrethrum burn, non watering, mites, my mothers are still alive and new growth looks healthy.
