Bad Seeds

bought 5 fem blueberry from planet skunk arrived monday & none cracked

never tried blueberry before. The seeds are very tiny ,would that be right?

 

hope this wont be ongoing as it will be costly on a pension.

Write them a nice email explaining what happened and ask for a replacement batch, usually they don't want to lose customers and will oblige, otherwise don't ever order there again. Best of Luck. Gh72

Some seeds take longer than others to germinate, I am currently playing with some that are taking between 10-14 days to germ in a glass of water.

 

I don't like your chances of getting replacement ones from the seed bank but it's worth a try.

PS have replaced 10 Celtic Berry's for me when the original 10 did not germ. This was before they self imploded. The co not the seeds. The new lot had a 40% germ rate. Must have been old stock as they now don't list the Celtic range.

Have never had any problems with other strains. SB seeds were the best for germ rates.

Will be time to try demon seeds soon.

well they spent 2 days in water & ive potted them so will see if anything pops up.

In all the years ive been growing they crack within the 24h period. These are the first not too.

yea well i reckon it depends on how old the seeds are and if they kept at right temps, some seedbanks keep seeds until they are sold doesnt matter how old they are

seedboutique probably have the biggest turnover of seeds of any seedbank so they are going to have the freshest beans no probs, and when they getting a bit old they sell them as specials thru seedbay, well thats what they used to do

and this Demonseeds seem to be no probs too?

Ive had a few seeds not germinate that I ordered from Demon Seeds. Think it was the breeder though as they were seedsman seeds, only had 4 out of 10 Ata Tundra crack and 1 of the freebie seedsman White Widow. All the rest are fine though

I've bought quite a few packs of DP seeds from PS and never had a problem. Not 100% germ rate but close enough, you should never expect 100% germ rate anyway. Also I rarely have seeds crack in 24 hours, but that is probably more to do with the age and storage conditions as Frazz said.
