Hope I'm posting this in the right section.

 

I was just wondering if somebody could explain to me if medicinal marijuana is actually legal in Australia (More so WA).

I've heard so many mixed responses (and I did search and couldn't find straight answer).

If so, what are the conditions that cannabis is used to help relieve the symptoms of or cure?

 

I have had a terribly sore back for months now from a motorcycle accident and the only thing that stops the pain is.. you guessed it.

Would I be eligible for medical marijuana?

Short answer is no.

 

Sezrch the forums for TGA or therapeutic goods administration. If you can get a doctor onside, there are some hoops you can jump through to try to get it but it's most likely you won't.
