Blue Buds or Blue Camera?!?!

OK guys i just took some pics in the grow and found some of my buds are hava blue tinge in the pictures....... At first i thought it was the camera.... but i have never had this prob before..... and it has been quite cold...

 

I cant see the blue with my eyes but just wondering what u guys think? Could the HPS be stopping me from seeing the blue-tinge?

Blue indeed...Maybe the white balance is out.....in your brain!!!

Anyway, as to the blue, the hps does tend to make for strange pics, some of my first ones came out with a similar hue, and that was taken right under the light... I still get a little blueness in there...

 

If you can, just adjust the colour mix in the photos to compensate and make for a more "real" colour to you...

It could be that you're using a flash, which makes for even more variables, as this kind of light is very different, and you get the mix of the two throwing all sorts of shades at ya...

 

I just take off the flash and put some light sunnies in front of the lens... Dunno if that will help ya, but there you go...

I reckon its the flash, and the resins must have absorbed the blue light from the flash before the pic was taken, hence the blue colours, I mean you often see pics that bright and blueish from using flash in dark spots? like family gatherings in rooms with low light? almost like whitish blueish? thats the flash.

 

Thats what I reckoned, nothing worth worrying, unless you are colour blind

Looks ok to me - try white balancing using a sheet of white paper over the area that you want to take a pic of firstly. Turn flash off as shouldn't need it in a well lit area even for fill in.

 

I would trust my eyes - they auto white balance better than the most sophisticated chip.
