Rooted Clones Straight To 12/12

Recommended Posts

Out of curiosity I will be putting one of my blueberry clones straight into 12/12 just to see what it does really. I was wondering if anyone can recommend what size pot I should use? I was thinking just a little 100mm pot but maybe that would be too small? I don't expect it will grow much roots though going straight to 12/12. They are currently in those small rockwool cubes and are just showing roots.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Hey mate

I used to just drill a bunch of holes at the bottom of a 4 inch pot

And let the roots grow out the bottom

Note that it was a recirculating system

And a root mat would form with other plants, helping to hold them up

The pot was really just for 'convenience' I guess

I used to put plants into flower really small (less than 4 inches)

I would give them a blast of veg light for a week or so to give them some legs

But a 3-4 inch plant could grow to 2 feet after 8 weeks of flowering

As I was doing a sea of green thing, I wasn't looking for branching

And lights don't have a huge penetrating power, so wasn't looking for height either

They start staggering the growth along the stems right from the start

All bud, bugger all stem

Good luck with it

You're growing some killer buds by the looks of some of your pics
