Police Find Cannibas Valued Over $450K

Cannabis plants worth close to half a million dollars have been seized from a home on the NSW far south coast, police say.

 

Police said the 208 cannabis plants, along with cannabis leaf and equipment used for the hydroponic cultivation of cannabis, were found at a home in Bega, by officers with a search warrant.

 

Police estimate the plants and leaf have a street value of more than $450,000.

 

Two boys, aged seven years and 16 months, were at the home at the time the warrant was executed.

 

A 29-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Bega Police Station.

 

He was charged with offences including cultivating a large commercial quantity of prohibited plants in the presence of children, possessing an indictable quantity of cannabis leaf and supplying a prohibited drug.

 

He was refused bail to appear at Bega Local Court on November 9.

im sure alot of people would have been hurt and families ruined from them 208 planta....... what a fucking joke.. thers real criminals out there killing people.. selling your daughter heroin.. spiking drinks in clubs and raping your wifes.. and the police are still worried about people growing a medicinal herb that has never hurt anyone.... These pigs claim ridiculous figures for busts knowing that no one is in a position to dispute them, this feeding of media hype by those in authority is just further proof of the inherent stupidity of the govt/media/pigs/sheeple.

 

And my deepest sympathy goes out to the bloke on the receiving end of this shit, it's every growers nightmare.

Yea i agree what a crock, how do they calculate the cost of weed per plant? so if i had 200 plants in a sea of green set up its worth 450k? I hope the USA do legalize it then with some luck we hear in OZ will follow suit
