Klaus

Recommended Posts

Hello,

i am from europe and want to spend a few mounth in Oz.

I am only comman to grow in bad climate, like tassi (rain, cold) so I have a few questions. I prefer the Nimbin area, Cairns or Exmouth area. What you think about this idea?

1.Which area is the best for growing in Oz?

(I want to grow outdoor, time march to oktober)

2.In which area is the most outdoor- space, water...

3.where is the possible penalty lowly? In NSW?

I will be very happy about a few ideas and opinions.

thanks

March to october. That's the northern outdoor season. In Australia we flush the toilet the other way round mate.

North Australia.. for that time would be the best bet. Anywhere else and if you go to far south you won't end up with anything half worth the effort.

The outdoor season in australia has allready started. This is the time where people are bringing seedlings outdoor or raising seeds. March is the time of year where plants are in flower and depending on the strain.. people will look at harvesting there on or even before.

Hope this helps.

peace.

P.s are you from Germany.. Klaus is a pretty common german name.

Is there enough water? Rivers, lakes...

short answer, no.

australia is very very dry. water is a constant problem. you can not depend on rainfall or rivers and lakes. if you are near a really major body of water then you can be guaranteed that there will be plenty of other people in those areas because they are so rare here.

people use things like water crystals and drip irrigation systems.

I disagree. I know places in Australia where you can stick a clone in the ground with a little prep work, walk away and come back right around harvest time with a nice big bush and buds to boot. These places are a minority but they do exist.

QLD east coast.. cough cough

Klaus, I think maybe just a holiday is good mate if your not on a working visa you'll only be allowed to stay for 3 months. Just go to Nimbin score some weed and go lay on a beach somewhere with some hot backpacker chicks. Bloody waste of a good holiday trudging through the bush watering plants. Not to mention if you get caught, you will be on drug charges in a foriegn country, that never goes down well.

I would go the Holiday otherwise i can see you being breakfast for a croc, trying to plant too close to water.

Hmmm Hot Backpacker Chicks in Bikini's or 3 months of hard work you can't take with ya.......hmmmmmm....know what I'd pick. :peace: Gh72

you're quite right those rare places do exist. pretty unlikely that a foreign bloke who doesn't even know when to plant is going to be able to find one though. maybe if he had a local guide. and those areas are well known to locals so the chances of getting ripped would be that much higher don't you think?
