The NBN will be bringing 2 things to pretty much every house in Australia over the next decade, IPTV and smart meters in every fuse box. Those new smart meters are able to determine exactly what you have running in your house and can even turn things on and off like air conditioners without your knowledge or permission....

 

I honestly give it 15 years tops before the government of the day turns on and actively keeps on, every single tv in Australia and on every single channel is their properganda. It won't be difficult to do at all and they'll see as too good an oppurtunity to pass up

Governments of today are always whinging that they never have enough money..

Yet they spend all of this money on ridiculous surveys and studies with forged information stating how bad Cannabis is.

why would a power company care what u use your electricity for as long as they get paid? even if they could detect 12/12 and 18/6 it would be a simple matter of seting the meter to 11.45/12 and 17.45/6

Its now illegal to sell bongs and stuff too, poor old Joint Ventures, my favourite shop of all time.... been going there for over 15 years.... Gee I never realised weed was so harmful as what they make out... I've been smoking for 20 years and I would rather smoke than drink piss.... Much healthier for ya too......... Im fkn wild about these new laws and WA has increased its lead in the "nanna state" rankings yet again!!!!!

So even countries like America are going forward on the issue of Marijuana, but not Australia- it is going backwards.

 

Its not like any more than a minority of people obeyed the pathetically small personal decriminalized amount, it was already woefully inadequete- so no wonder they think everyone is flouting the law- because the amount of plants allowed was not reasonable or sufficient.

 

One non-hydro plant in South Australia- a complete joke.
