Small Cupboard Lighting

Hey guys,

 

I want to set up a small grow room in my cupboard (125cm H, 55cm W, 60cm D)for 2 - 4 plants. I want to spend the least amount of money possible (preferably under $150) so I was thinking of using CFL's and just having a small turny fan for ventilation with holes in the back of the cupboard. What's the go with using CFL's for a small number of plants in that kind of space?

If you look around the site there is a few cfl grows and heaps of information.

I would probably lean towards using two of the 130w High Output fluros - each of different light spectrum's.

 

You would have to keep the plants pretty small but you could do it.

 

Have fun and as the Rev said there is plenty of info and diary's on the site that are using cfl's

So with using the two different spectrum's, I would have the veg spectrum on first and when they're ready to flower chuck the flower spectrum in?
