New shoots yellow

pisslips

Recommended Posts

All four of my plants and in separate pots, coco with a base of clay balls.

Using run/waste and feeding 4 times in 12 hours, and 9 days into 12/12 lights.

All the new shoots are coming through yellowish. they are under a 400mh and

a 600hps (40cm above). The two directly under the hps seem to be more

yellow then the other two. Last night i started using half stregth nutes and I

added 1ml per lit of PK13/14. I thought it might have been a lack of potasimim.

Please HELP me have I done the right thing?

As a fellow Coco'er I would go to bunnings and buy a lil watering probe ($10) only water the coco when it gets to the red, I take it your hand watering. I'm in flower too and my pots only need to be watered once maybe twice a week, which will increase later (week 2 3/4). Coco holds a shit load of water. Double check your PH of your nute mix and the distance from your lights. Mongy is on the money as usual, and as usual I get there late.:freak:. Gh72

I am no expert by any means. But I have my well established plants in 20 cm square pots.

They are smal potsl for the size of plant, and I've found they still only require watering

once per day. If you water with coco frequently with little to no run off this may also

cause problems. If the run off is piss coloured then you have an excess build up

of nutes the plants have not used.

Once a day with 10% run off per pot. Coco spec nutes with manufacturer dose's and correct

PH and you can't go wrong...My problems have been pests and algae and the treatment of them.

Ohh to have such simple problems with Coco like you have.. :freak:
