coco coir & soil mix?

Hey guys i was thinking about doing a 80 - 20 soil - coco coir mix, will this be fine to do for a outdoor grow?

I have got some of my plants in this mix this year except i went 50/50 ratio

 

I also mixed in some slow release fert pellets give them canna coco once a week.

 

My reasoning behind this is to keep them fed but not use as much coco nutes as that stuff aint exactly cheap

Ok good to know thats fine for outdoors. my reason for this is i thourght last year i has some airaition problems and i only bourght 75L of potting mix and my pots are 90L - 100L and i found 2 coco coir bricks there 9L each and i should have another one somewhere in the shed.

 

also i was thinking about mixing in some pelets aswell i was gonna get some yates dynamic lifter advanced for tomatoes http://www.yates.com.au/products/fertilisi...d-for-tomatoes/

 

and as for my nutes im gonna use yates multi nutrent plant food will this be fine? and during flower weeks 3 - 7 just mix in some dutchmaster potash+ and flush for 2 weeks (well see how there lookin.)

Ok i finaly moved my baby into her 100L pot 75 - 25 soil coco mix and im liking it so far. holds water much better,the soil isnt compacting like it normaly does in these big pots with so much weight of soil pushing it all down. ill see how it goes through out this grow.
