hmm sounds all good, i got a few normal cf's doing the job at the moment, started them for summer but summer is pretty far off haa :o 15 and 18 watts i think i have bit of a mix with warm/white and something else. i might trow them out back start of september 1st of spring, Q - would my plants go into auto flower if i took them from 24/0 light to outdoor spring conditions ? i got them under cf's at the moment hoping they wont grow all that much in the mean time.. peace SDB....

Gday sodrysbro, they will...for a bit, but the days are getting longer in the spring see...when the hydro pot first came onto the scene(skunk generally) the seeds we came across would try to flower in our hot houses at a few weeks old, this was in august!. theyd try a couple of times but had to wait til autumn, but it was good for sussing out sex though. them big cfs were round $20 if i remember. another thing, supermarkets are a good suss too, i found these little round fat ones at 25 and 40 watt(fancy round), great in tight spaces etc...as ive said before, you gotta be creative...makes for interesting pics then too, like fridge grow boxes, etc. lurve lateral thinking...JAIKAI :o
