Respritory problems

Recommended Posts

Hello,

iam a big user of cannabis

i use cannabis everyday for around 1.5 years my breathing has been fine untill recent when i found it hard to breathe after comming down from my high hours later, 3 days later im still having trouble breathing i have been to the hospitial and had x-rays they came up better than fine, no fluid in my lungs, no emphysema, no physical damage from smoking what so ever,

I figgured it may be stress and anxiety?

but then im also not sure because i get hot and cold sweats

anyway does this have anything to do with smoking marijuana?

Or what do you think it is

Any help gladly appreciated

Regards

Jake

hey man, could it be a touch of the flu?

A while ago when the swine flu ( or w/e u wanna call it) when thru my family and I got a touch of it. I had trouble breathing and pretty much slept sitting up to help me breathe. Ive also felt fatigued and had to put more effort into breathing when ive had abit of random virus`s that seem to go around every so often.

You need to provide more information about what you mean by trouble breathing.

It is possible you are suffering from anxiety, though this is most common shortly after the high first hits, not hours later.

Are you coughing much?

If you smoke enough weed, it will have an impact on your lungs. Buy a vaporizer, or learn the art of eating the right amount of it, and waiting 90-120 mins for it to hit (Ie take it 90 mins before you want effect)

If you are going to smoke then learn to smoke it straight. If you are mixing it with tobacco you will have breathing problems. Pot is a herb an should not be mixed with the chemicals in cigarettes.

Pot is good for airways but not if you mix it. If you can't take it straight. don't take it at all. Tobacco is poisonous, not pot

Tobacco is not poisonous, all the chemicals they put in commercial tobacco is.

Totally true..!!

but how many people use chemical free tobacco? By the time most people do learn about it their lungs are a mess like mine and prone to pneumonia, which i'm still getting over.. Only thing that helped me to breathe was pure pot..

Very few people start smoking pot before ciggies.. Most end up doing both.. only supposedly chemical free tobacco i know of is chop chop.... Although I'm sure someone here will re-educate me if i'm being ignorant.. :)

Yep that's the one, chop chop is homegrown chemical free stuff, but growing it is considered "tax evasion".

I have never smoked cigarettes, I went straight to the good stuff  I never plan on smoking even chemical free tobacco (which isn't addictive AFAIK, it's all the harmful chemicals that get you addicted)
