Putting Together Growlush reflector

Just got a 130w CFL cant figureout how to put the bloody reflector together, Coz it didnt come with instructions... Pretty pissed. Has anyone ever put one of these growlush reflectors that have the chains on either end to hold them in shape? its approx 370mm x 600mm with 15 mm lips on two sides. Has anyone ever put these together coz I tried for a couple hours last night and got frustrated like a demon and cant find instructions anywhere on the net..

Put some pics up, then we may be able to help. Or take a trip to a hydro shop and have a look at what they have.

Hi mate,

I have just finished putting 2 of these together. Even with the instructions was a bit of a pain, main thing i was doing wrong was only using 4 bolts down the middle to hold it together what you need to do is overlap it so that there are 8 bolts used.

I've added a very rough pic hope it helps.

In the top pic is this the same shade?

Cant see the pics on my work computer but when I get home I will have a look. sounds like the same one though coz I was using 4 bolts... Thanks for the info mate, will give it a go tonight and let you know.

I would go to a hydro shop... But the closest one is 150km away. So I think ill pass...

u get it together mate? I sat there staring at mine for like 3 hours before my mrs came along and showed me how to put the stupid thing together. > just bolt the pannels together, bent the sucker and use the chain to hold it in shape.

 

its adjustable aswel, so feel free to shorten the chains and make the shade slimmer, did you get enough bolts to put yours together? fucking scabs sent me like 4 bolts
