~Sawyers~ 2010/11 Outdoor Grow

Recommended Posts

G'day guys,

After a solid feed of some chicken manure and compost, the plants are starting to perk up a bit. It seems they were N hungry after all. It's a shame I didn't get on top of it earlier, because I lost a few weeks vegetative growth. Never mind, I've learned for next time.

Here's a few pics I took yesterday. There's some definite growth overall and the yellowing of the leaves appears to have ceased. We're on the road to recovery, just in the nick of time too with flowering just around the corner.

G'day Sawyer. You might like to try something I did last year, 2010. I found a liquid rose fertilizer called Growth Technologies at Bunnings, there are 3 strength formula and being a glutton I used the strongest mixture When I used this on my plants they went berserk. Bulked up and the foliage went a very dark blue green, the leaves had red stalks and the heads were a lovely golden colour. This year I will post some pix but am not able just yet, I need to buy some more gadgetry for this new computer I have purchased. But you seem to have it wired, so, lotsa luck.

Apologies for the lack of updates.

I'd been having a tough time with this particular patch. I had minor security concerns, so I've only been visiting the girls at night. Had plenty of issues to deal with as well whether it be lack of water, excessive heat, wasps or rodent problems.

As such, the plants aren't doing very well. The good news is that they're still alive, the bad news is that it's not by much. I'd be lying if I said i wasn't frustrated by the whole thing. You put so many hard yards in only for shit to stuff up near the end. One of the perils of this hobby I suppose.

Fortunately I don't like to put all my eggs in the one basket. Things are looking much better at the other patch. Here's a few flicks of some healthy plants maybe 5 weeks into flower.
