~Sawyers~ 2010/11 Outdoor Grow

Recommended Posts

Big girl has bounced back after I took a heap of clones off her 9 days ago. She's looking nice and healthy and no doubt aching for some proper sun after all the recent rain. I reckon she's wider than she is tall. The fact that she's sitting up off the ground in a big pot makes her look a bit deceiving however.

Nice thick stem:

In her entirety:

Also, I was gifted some pollen from a male suitor for the big girl in flower. (Thanks Champ) Pollinated some of her lower branches this afternoon. Hopefully get some seeds in 4-5 weeks.

It's been a little while...

Here's my lady as of today. She'd been struggling over the past month a bit to be honest, without the sort of growth I was hoping for. I noticed some branches were trying to flower whilst others were still vegging, so I guess that slowed her down a bit. I ended up giving here a few doses of high Nitrogen fish emulsion, and I think that helped her perk up.

It looks like she's back in full veg now, and with the warm (and wet) summer months just beginning, I'm hoping she'll start to absolutely boom.

She's got a few spots of yellow on her, but overall she's in pretty good health.

It's been a couple of weeks since I threw up some pics. For stealth reasons, I'd mainly been visiting the girls at night time. I took the opportunity this afternoon to sneak in for a visit. It's always nice to see your ladies during the day.

She's completely reveged after her mild flowering episode. This resulted in a 'monster cropping' effect, with a fresh proliferation of extra shoots at the tip of each flowering branch. She's a real bushy girl now. She hasn't grown up so much as she has out.

I had to do a bit of training as well, weaving the stem throughout her cage to make the canopy a bit more even.

Man they are lush as, sawyer. You've still got about 4weeks b4 they flower properly....they're going to be HUGE!!!

Good luck mate...hope you get to pull them yourself

Cheers mate, yeah depending on the Early (Durban) influence in this particular plant we'll be looking at late Jan or early Feb flowering. Speaking of which, it's the Summer Solstice in a couple of days-longest day of the year!

I still quite haven't been able to put my finger on the nutrient issues she (and some of my other plants) seem to be suffering from. I know it's related to the soil. The pH is a bit high, so I suspect it's a nutrient uptake problem. I hope I can sort it out in the next few weeks before flowering commences. :scratchin:
