Smell Problem

Recommended Posts

I am coping wifts of skunk coming from out the front of my house. Its very distictively coming from my drive way and the neighbours front yard that has various different natives. Can smell it every time I walk past there and it is doing my narna in! My room runs 2 carbon filters - 1 smaller 1 attached to a 250 centrifgal suspended from the ceiling in the middle of the room and not connected to any outlet (acts as a scrubber when the main fan is not on), this runs 24/7. I also run a can fan attached to quite a monster of a filter for the exhaust which cycles every 15 mins of the end of the hour. My room is completely sealed and also has another fan attached to the inlet duct which connects to an evap on the outside of the room. There are no smells in the near vicinity of my room and I know for a fact that my neighbour doesnt grow. Is it possible that the plants out the front of the neighbours could be producng this massively skunky smell? It didnt happen during summer, could it be a seasonal thing?

This shit is stressing me out, hoping it will end with the change of the season. Any info on this type of thing would be appreciated.

I don't mean to be rude but is there a possibility that it's all in your head? Sometimes my wife tells me that outside my grow room smells of bud but I can't smell it.

Either that or you have a leak but you sound like you have the exhaust situation well and truly covered.

I don't know of any native plants that smell like dope but I guess there is a possibility. Can you go into the neighbours front yard and take a closer smell?

yea this is a big mystery and id like to know the answer too

if youre 110% sure there are no leaks from room then all i can think of is the carbon is worn out and too old or carbon is loaded with water vapour from high humidity thereby preventing the carbon from cleaning the air ??

hope you work it out
