Halls Creek woman, 60, charged with intent to supply drugs

BROOME detectives investigating the distribution of drugs in remote communities have charged a 60-year-old woman with cannabis possession.

 

Police stopped a Mitsubishi Triton ute 2km east of the Broome town site and claim drugs were found in

the rear tray of the vehicle.

 

It will be alleged a number of other items associated with the distribution of drugs were also discovered in the vehicle.

 

The 60-year-old woman from Halls Creek was charged with possessing a prohibited drug with intent to sell or supply and is due to appear in the Broome Magistrates Court on August 27.
