Ozone

Hi All,

Anybody know much about ozone for odour control. I've had some good reviews from others but wanted to know what your views are. I've been told that as long as you have an area to vent into ie a shed to give time for the ozone to work rather than venting it straight outside, it works wonders

Ozone dose work but isent good for the plants and other things it can come in touch with.

 

If you have a long pice of ducting to push the air through with the ozone gen at the start of it by the time it comes out the other end it will of kill all the smell.

ozone may work in an elaborate extensive exhaust / ducting setup but ozone unlike carbon, does not have the properties of being simple and easy to setup, totally effective with no inherent dangers to human / animal health as a commercially made carbon filter does

 

worse still if the ozone producer happens to fail for any reason the exhausted air comes out stinking, if unnoticed by the grower this can attract unwanted attention and / or suspicions, whereas i dont believe a carbon filter can fail cause there are no working parts which can fail

i used to use ozone

even had it in me grow room

with no ducting etc

the 1 i had cost over 400 and was sposed to double as co2 in lights off

pain in tha ass turning off 5 mins proir to grow room entry

not sure how that was but i never got any dead plants

in the end it just died so carbon up

in hiendside id just go carbon

as the smell of ozone is known to both crims and cops

this day and age no real use for ozone that im aware of

theres better products that dont do damage to ya health
