hey guyz,

whats some good brands of fertilizers i can buy from bunnings/nursury or whatever.

And also when would be the best time to use them, like veg stage, budding etc

Also i herd that when it comes to fertilizing marijuana plants, it always has to be done to 1/4 of the strength it recommends on the packet....is this true?

thanks for your time

btw im from SA

Hey PB, i grow hydro, so i cant recommend good brands from these stores, im guessin you are growing in soil,

Use Any types of nutes with a reasonably high N content for veging and mayby a different nute with high P and K for flowering,

With young plants i would be giving em 1/4 strength, then as the plants get bigger increase the nutes to half and then mayby full strength, Besure not to constantly feed em nutes every time you water, this could toxify the soil, Use only water for 2 or 3 waterings, this will help get rid of any salt build up in the soil, then give em nutes with water on the 4th watering, Also make sure to flush your medium with water regularly,

Hey PB, Saw in Bunnings they now have dutch master, thats what I used to use, it's pretty good and If you get the full range, you should be able to do the whole thing with it. Follow the directions, never over but maybe whrn they are growing, a litle under, but not 1/4 strength thats ok for seedlings with 3 sets of leaves but will be useless as they get bigger.

All the best . Gh72

Hi PB,

You say you're in SA. Shit the choice is yours.

Hydro nutes work excellent both indoor and outdoor as they contain all the nutients a plant needs.

They also have the right balance for veg and flower.

There are many places you can buy your nutes other than Bunnings and although the number of hydro stores in SA is reducing, due to the restrictions now being imposed on lights, carbon filters etc you don't need to go to a hydro store.

Some gardening stores, especially at the markets, sell them.

Have a look around, you might be surprised where you find them.

But some gardening stores certainly stock a range.
