#Wanted some tips on my setup#

Hey haven't posted here for ages and wanted to post some pictures of my plant & how its going and any tips you could point out for me.

You will need to stake that asap, your light has been much too far away and it has stretched too much, you also need a fan in with your plants to strengthen them.

its been in the natural sun-light for the last 3-4 weeks but yes when it was younger its stem streched and i staked it for a week and the stem got thick enough to support it's own weight so i dont really think that it would need to be staked again.

 

Ps:It's A Girl!!!! its got white hairs growing all under the top leaves and a mini bud is forming

congrats on getting a lady mate but I agree with Taz, that stem does look awefully thin, as it puts on bud weight you may find you'll have to stake it again.

Ok ill stake it up then should i do it now or later?

and what should i use to stake it up?

Now, it would be good if you could avoid putting the stake in the pot as some root damage will occur.

Hey All!

 

She's been staked for about 2 and half weeks now and stem has thickend more leafs more bud spots (nodes) and hairs.

Your plant should be a lot bigger than that by now if its the one planted in July. Are you using the right PH [5.5-6.5] and how much lighting do you have now?

 

I read back and wish I had suggested you buy a PH kit and a 40W CF back when you had $50 to spend but Ive never seen this thread until now.

 

I just blew my 2x40W CFs in a storm and theres a big reduction in lighting without them.

What Nutrients should i start using to make the buds bigger and the plant larger? and brand name ,anything i can buy at k-mart,coles, or a

nursery?
