aquaponics?

Recommended Posts

im running an aquaponics grow now in my thread.

i have to admit at this stage it is looking like it isnt going to be a great yield. i did however have an issue for the first 2-3 weeks of flower with a potassium deficiency which i was slow to fix and i think that is the most crucial time for yield.

i feel certain i will nail it next round and it will be just as good as hydro.

I think this is probably a long shot, but im wondering if anyone has tried growing weed aquaponically?

Aquaponics is sort of like hydroponics combined with aquaculture, where you grow fish and plants together and the fish produce fertiliser for the plants, and the plants eat up the fertiliser so the water is nice an clean for the fishies  I think its really really interesting! I grew some pretty good strawberries and basil and lettuce and stuff this way before i moved recently, and im really keen to find out if weed can be grown this way.

I think it's a great idea. I read somewhere they are doing something like this with hemp.
