South African doctor invents female condoms with 'teeth'

South African Dr. Sonnet Ehlers was on call one night four decades ago when a devastated rape victim walked in. Her eyes were lifeless; she was like a breathing corpse.

 

"She looked at me and said, 'If only I had teeth down there,'" recalled Ehlers, who was a 20-year-old medical researcher at the time. "I promised her I'd do something to help people like her one day."

 

Forty years later, Rape-aXe was born.

The woman inserts the latex condom like a tampon. Jagged rows of teeth-like hooks line its inside and attach on a man's penis during penetration, Ehlers said.

Not that I disagree with the doc's intentions at all, but something has to be mentioned..

 

If a man is shit heal gutter low enough to rape a woman and she rape-axes his penis, what do you think will happen to her next?

 

Sure the penetration will stop, but I fear for her safety after that.

Do you think the rapist with a teeth biting condom on his cock will be in any state to further attack the woman? I think the danger of the scenario you paint is of gang rape, as the fellow gang-bangers no doubt will likely murder her.

 

One has to remember this is South Africa and 1 in 2 women will be raped there. The female population is terrorised.

might catch those few off gaurd, help the victim escape and help identify the rapist.

ah didn't see the common point of error that a few members pointed out. Seams everyone is unanimous on the whole rape victim getting murdered scenario... well if it means the authorities get one rapist .. rapeless...
