I stick with manual pH testing. Bought a $50 pH tester from Dick Smith but it was puss and i don't believe it is worth over $50 for a pH metre, so i'm sticking with manual.

Never tried any of those brands in the links, saved up for a BlueLab :D awesome service and whatnot.

I would suggest saving up for the BlueLab to avoid dissappointment, there's a reason they're highly recommended :D

:D :D

I probably should have added that all i want is something to get me through the 1st few grows until i can afford to buy quality gear like a blue lab test wand, I agree ya get what ya pay for but yea just after something that will do the job for 6 months then upgrade. The links i have added have both digital lcd and led style testers jut not sure which way to go, easy and simple led or somewhat more accurate digital lcd? the lcd one at under $40 is looking good just also wondering if any one has tryed using any of these before? btw at $15 for my ph tester im not expecting much or see it lasting more than a grow but it must be better than nothing surely.

yea ok given your requirements and limitations

IMO use the flairform PH colour tester kit or get the meter or both, maybe when you on your feet get a Eurotech PH tester from ebay

might as well get that EC meter in the link, of course its chinese copy but maybe its worth the 35$ to find out how good they are, like they would work ok its just how accurate for how long? .. give it a whirl :D

otherwise the Blue Lab stuff is of the highest quality available anywhere, correspondingly its 4-5 x the price but worth it

all da best

less cash = less quality=less success

Is good to save a bux where ya can but how bad ya gona feel half way though flower if ya cheep stuff shits it self, gota wait a week or 2 for replacement cause ya buyin online in that time ya totally guessing feed ratios and ya plants crapout........2 much time money and risk to not spend the extra 130 bux n get the quality stuff IMO :D

goold luck on what ya decide.
