ozone generator vs Carbon filter

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone, hope everything is all well.

Just a quick question about my cab,

I have a grow area that is 2.5 foot wide, 3 foot tall and 5 foot long. Its in my room so i have to keep it quiet which i have achieved pretty well, it has a 250 ball-baring inlet fan which keeps it cool, and another 6 inch cpu fan that sucks the air out of the cab, through the cool tube and blows the air out of the cab as my outlet fan and keeps the cool tube nice and cool.

Was wondering if another 6 inch fan would have enough force to suck the air out and through a small carbon filter to take away the smell or if i would be better of mounting a ozone generator to kill the smell inside the cab so when it gets sucked out its not filthy.

Need to sort this pretty soon, girls are getting big i need to start flower asap. but cant have the room stinking.

Thanks everyone

to get maximum efficiency with ozone the stinky particles of smell need to be tumbled around with the particles of ozone so the odour molecule can be broken down an neutralised, like in a box or a twisted length of ducting before the air is finally exhausted in a clean state again ,

TBH the whole ozone setup is a head-f*#k you dont need

what if ya ozone tube blows while ya not home and the exhaust continues to merrily pump out the air , but this time its stinking like a skunk and the whole neighbourhood is standing around sniffing the air and pointing at your house as ya driving back home ... :D

i agree with naycha, ozone tis just far too dangerous to your health to bother with it , plus the carbon filter is perhaps a little more efficient too

IMO

:D
