Pictures of the joy of outdoors growing

Recommended Posts

Here's a pic of the plant. I tipped her at the 4th. node, and just kept tieing the branches down. As each new shoot became visible from the track, (which was very remote anyway), i tied it down, and subsequent side branches would then shoot up again. These in turn needed to again be tied down.

I know most outdoor growers use this method, but for those that haven't this is the sort of size you can get and still be fairly managable in regards to hiding it.

All going well, I'll try to get some 30 second vdeo streams made of this movie and have them online here to view. I just have to get someone with the right gear to do it.

cheers

thanks bong mate, they're all from a strain we used to call Mullumbimby Madness, but with all the arguement these days of just what that strain is, I don't want to go too deep on that one lol.

But it is seed from gear that we all in that area (Nth. NSW) called Mullum Madness, in the late 70s and early eighties. It was extrememly potent, and lately, I've heard people talk down what is getting around as Mullum Madness. This stuff couldn't be talked down. It sat plenty of seasoned smokers on their backsides, which is why I kept the seed (at that time). I'd love to know what it's heritage is in real terms, I'd grow it again in a flash.

It wasn't the wildest sativa I ever smoked. I thought it was hard to beat, but I smoked some gear just a few years back from South Australia that was white-ish of all things. A small tight joint and there were times I regretted it. It was like tripping. If anyone has any idea what it might have been, let me know please. I would really like to grow it. I wonder if it was silver haze, but I don't know. The description of the high (over the 'net) is similar to what I bought. It was outraegously expensive, but then I did buy it from a foil dealer. I split the oz with my father, and it laster forever it was so full on.

Anyway, got off the point again lol.

The set up on pic 3 was a series of short videos we made when I was younger. We dubbed the "personality" Mal Paper Bag, and he featured in a number of grows from corn paddocks, bush scenes and eventually he went indoors, never to be seen again. Shame.... it was fun. I often toy with the idea of making a poster of Mal Paper Bag infront of a grow just like no. 3 I wonder if he'd sell?

cheers

hey rob

the old mullumbimbi madness , back in the 70's & 80's we were always happy if we could score "mullumbimbi heads" as they were called.

i assume these were the same strain as mullumbimbi madness, shit they used to get you ripped.

p.s . i love "mal"

rob , just on a side note , from a couple of your posts i kind of guess you live on my side of town and was wondering if you new of a cheaper hydro shop than "green power ". i find he is very expensive.
