Well i say heat probably affected ya last yield as know plenty peeps use dutch masta. Sounds like u might be new to this so solve ya heat issues get a few runs under ya belt n compare nute n such as ya go along.

By the way, how much did ya get to be dissapointed with. I hear ppl get bout 20-24 oz with a 1000 watter with perfect conditions.

heya mrjosh :) yea good idea to come here for 2nd opinion :peace:

i grow in perlite and handwater using Growth Technology 2-part nutrients (similar to DM's nutes)

i run PH 5.8 -6.0 , and EC 1.4 from start to finish (except during flowering when PK is often used in addition)

over some time this has been very successful for my plants needs

as ppg says there are a few different things which need a little fine-tuning to get the best results from you particular setup

i note you say the temps get a little high, then tell us what your ventilation setup is like, course i dunno where you are but i would have thought this time of year temps should be well down?

Much more likely to be related to the cultivation and environment than nutrients, these are unlikely to be causing you problems unless they're ancient or contaminated. This is rare in the extreme.

It would help a great deal if you could describe or even provide a picture of your setup with as much detail as possible. Let us know all the info you can possibly think of and we should be able to pinpoint a likely cause. Don't despair though, absolutely everyone starts out somewhere and everyone here has killed a plant at one stage or another or had a bad crop at one time or another. There are many, many ways to do a good indoor grow but there are some fundamentals that tie them alltogether. My best advice is to research research research and find out everything you can and then use your own judgement as to what makes the most sense and act accordingly. For now though, as many details as you can provide and even better a picture or two of the environment and plants and we'll have more to go on.

Good luck with them and welcome to the forums. :peace: We'll get those nuggets bigger than you dreamed in no time.

Whats size fans are you you using for your inlet/outlet? Do you know there cfm?

I run a 600w hps and have two 200mm inline fans (apparently 500cfm) one for room exhaust with passive intake and the other draws air from outside the room, through the cool tube and then vents out. Both are wired to a fan controller and this time of year i have them both on low. This keeps my 1x1x2m tent at around 22-24 C.

I'd say that when i added the tube it dropped my temps about 4-5 C, but the best thing about them is they allow you to get your lamp closer to the tops off your plants, which will also "help" in bud development.

Yeah pictures will help and as much information about your setup and the guys on here will get you sorted.

Was wondering if you open the door for 5 mins or so dose that affect the temps in the tent? I find that i can drop my room by a degree or to by opening the door right up. It doesn't sound like much, but if you find you can drop the temps by a couple degrees then you might not have adequate air flow.

Any way I'm not the most experienced gardener to be giving you advice but like i said just post as much as you can about the problem here and help wont be far away.
