Little black bugs on trimmed weed?

Recommended Posts

Was just harvesting my whole one plant for the year and noticed a whole bunch of little black bugs on the stems and getting into the flowers, they aren't scale as they had legs and were moving a round. Anyways is it OK to spay the already harvested branches with neem oil during the drying out phase or am I doomed to be smoking bugs for the rest of the year?

Pic's would be good noob. Could be spider mites. How small are they? Would not be spraying anything on haversted buds. Try a strong spray with cold water under the leaves as well as on top. If they are mites, then they need to be removed as they will ruin you buds even after harvest. Could be thrip or aphids. Either way I would not be spraying with pesticide natural or chemical.

Hey thanks,

My camera doesn't go that small so no chance of pics, there are 2 sorts of bugs, the black ones I presume are the adults and then there's little fat white fuckers that are the juveniles. I gave the show a good blasting with the hose and that seems to have knocked most of the mongrels out so hopefully they should be right now, I was going to harvest the rest next week so i'll double check before I chop.
