hey all atm im working on setting up a nice setup that will consist of 4 600watt hps lights, 5 plants under each light and what i will be doing is starting off a light month after month...basically after the first month i start some more babies, after 2 months another light, etc

 

the setup will be in a garage about 12m long 3m wide and 2m high..i will be seperating the growing areas by using that super reflective shit thats used in rich peoples hydro setups and sky lights...i will also be buying a massive sheet of black and white sheeting...should block any light from escaping and reflect some back

 

I will be growing white widow, afghani #1, ducksoffspring, skunk x mango and a few locally grown hydro strains from my friends

 

any ideas or thoughts on how this can be done efficiently or anything really it would be highly appriciated

The idea behind the setup is to have a constant harvest...assuming it takes a month to cure and dry the buds i will be constantly covered in buds after 4 months ....

 

all in all i would expect about 3 ounce per plant so 15 odd ounces a month isnt too bad shit i doubt i could smoke all that ...might have to tone things down a bit ay...would make a awsome commercial grow tho

you can do continual harvest crops with one or two lights in a single flowering area. Just grow sog style and rotate your plants through under the light.

 

If you really want to run all those lights having one ballast rigged up to run 2 lights on alternate 12/12 cycles is a more efficient way of doing it. A ballast uses a lot more power when firing up. So having one ballast on full time and switching between two lights will be more efficient.

 

Unless you know what you're doing you'll need a sparky to rig up the right connections and timers between your ballast and your lights.

try and cut down shit loads around the house maybe

 

mylar is the best reflective material ( i think 95% reflective)

black and white sheeting about 60%

flat white paint was about 65% (dont quote me )
