Harvested, and Froze them straight away

Recommended Posts

So I harvested my plant and I have frozen everything from the plant. I plan to remove them and throw it in a bubblebag.

Should have i dried it out first? if so can I still?

If the trichs are still good in their frozen state should I go ahead with the bubble bags or pull it apart, grind, dry, chop before the bag?

If you've frozen it now it's hard to thaw and dry it without damage later. Just use it frozen and hopefully break it up a bit into chunks to get the most out of it. Trichomes are in their purest (chemically) state when stored at a low temperature. The warmer it is (and more light for that matter) the more degradation into secondary cannabinoids you will get. That said a good dry and cure can enhance this process and help produce a more sedating stone.

Wet trim I find usually give more quality, but at the expense of yeild. Dry material tends to give more yeild, but a slight decline in quality. Either way though, and your head will be blown clean off.

What brand of bags do you have? Any chance you can throw up some pictures of your run?

Don't do just a single run with each batch either, it's worth putting the mixing bag aside after draining and doing a second run with it. Sometimes you can get a respectable second yeild from it. Godd luck! :scratchin:
