Well after the phenomenal growth of this clone i put in i decided to expand my dwc experiment.

heres the clone now

and i could look at these roots all day, but then it would die

Here's the new system, it's a 4 site pipe system each has it's own air stone in the bottom of each pipe and and the are all linked to a 45L res to keep the pipes full. Here is the room just about full.

And i see ya got ya cooltube ducting from ya room, if ys got the cash for another fan i suggest duct the cooltube separately from i side of tent to other and have separate fan extracting air from ya room.

I have a 600w hps in a cooltube hokked up to a 150mm ezi air centri fan, which goes into a 1000X250mm carbon filter. I also have a 150mm ezi air inline fan for air in.

 

Temps have been a bit of a problem in the summer but are under conrtol again now. Got a proper filter and have it ducted better now, temps sit at about 30 with lights on and about 25 with lights off. I run my lights at night to try and help with this, i also have one of those wireless weather stations which sits next to the TV and that tells me what temp and humidity it is at that time as well as min and max for the day. Really handy to have

Tommo, that sounds perfect. BUT, pisspotgrower is right, If you want to drop those extra couple of degrees just pop another small fan in the chamber to circulate the air a bit in the grow area, without this you will have problems anyway, will help you HEAPS in summer too =).

Few holes down low to let the cool air in and a fan up top to pump it out or use two fans so you can be sure of your air in/air out ratio. Maybe you can get a Y shaped adadpter so you can run both ducts through to your carbon filter, then you can eliminate those pongy smells completely. Good luck man. GH72
