The narcissistic indulgence of a brash young uni student.

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone, I've been lurking these forums for about a week now as well as several other websites and looking at other guides planning for planting this spring. One of my friends is open to the idea of planting on his property north of Sydney. Unfortunately, because I live in Sydney, and the facilities at his property are fairly rudimentary, I won't be able to check it that often.

My question is, if planted in fertile soil in quite close proximity to a fresh water river and with appropriate protection from pests and the like, how often would I need to check it throughout its growth stage? Obviously this is after germination and the earlier more temperamental stages of growth.

I apologise if this question has been answered before, however, I have been looking through the forums for a while now, but I couldn't find an answer which met my specific circumstances.

You will want to check at least every week to start with from germination.

Once the start showing sex, you need to be there often enough to remove any males within a few days of showing sex.

After that, perhaps not so often. I would set up a wire fence around it to keep rabbits and roos out.

Then, when about 2 months into flower, you need to keep a close eye on the plant's maturity, waiting for the right amount of hairs to go red/orange.

Good luch and have fun B)

yea the water factor is a ruler outdoors of how often you have to visit, and the visits phreak suggested for sexing of plants

so you have plant close to water, sure , but i wonder where the water table is in relation to your plants cause full term female Cannabis in flower has a daily thirst of many litres in summertime and they need water around the root zone

im unsure how far Cannabis roots will travel to find water ,

but if you got water covered then so much the better
